Program Overview
Healthy Families for Happy Futures (HFHF) is a FREE program for families of children with weight concerns. Parents and children attend two workshops facilitated by an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Clinical Psychologist. Workshops include education, skills development and behaviour change strategies that help families achieve healthy lifestyle habits.
Participants are asked to complete questionnaires regarding their eating patterns, physical activity levels and how they feel about themselves. Families visit their GP for an initial health assessment for referral to the program.
