GP Education Advisory Committee
The Education Advisory Committee has the role of providing advice, liaison and feedback to the GP Education Program Manager. The Committee comprises of 3 GPs and the Program Manager. Committee meetings are held on a quarterly basis to discuss possible education activities and associated issues.

Continuing Professional Development
OGPN runs regular CPD events for GPs which can be viewed on our Education Events Calendar. We also encourage alternative types of learning such as Clinical Audits, Small Group Learning (SGL), Supervised Clinical Attachments and Learning Plan and Portfolios.

OGPN has developed a Small Group Learning starter kit to assist GPs in setting up a Small Group Learning module and guide them through the process. This kit can be sent as a CD ROM (call the GP Education Program Manager) or the documents can be downloaded individually from the Resources Centre
OGPN is Accredited by The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards until March 2011.
